  • What is Hemp meaning?

    Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species that is grown specifically for industrial use. It can be used to make a wide range of products. Along with bamboo, hemp is one of the fastest growing plants on Earth.

    Hemp, (Cannabis sativa), also called industrial hemp, of the family Cannabaceae, cultivated for its fibre (bast fibre) or its edible seeds. Hemp is sometimes confused with the cannabis plants that serve as sources of the drug marijuana and the drug preparation hashish.

  • Is Hemp legal?

    Hemp and Hemp based products are not illegal in the US any longer as of 2018. Hemp falls under the Farm Bill which contains a provision legalizing hemp, a species of cannabis that Hemp based CBD can be extracted from but that isn’t psychoactive.

  • What is hemp based CBD?

    Hemp based CBD is short for cannabidiol, a compound that is extracted from the hemp plant. It’s one of the most prevalent compounds in the hemp plant and also one of the best-studied. Users report a wide variety of benefits from hemp based CBD. Several clinical studies have suggested that hemp based CBD could be very beneficial for medicinal use.

  • Is hemp based CBD Federally Legal?

    As of 2020, twelve US States fall in the exclusive category of Hemp based CBD being legal in their state. These are: Washington, District of Columbia, Oregon, Alaska, California, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts.

    If the package appears damaged upon delivery, please do not accept it, hand it back to the carrier so it is returned to us. If you discover that your package is damaged after it is delivered, please contact the HEMP26 Support.

    Note: Any damaged or missing orders must be reported to HEMP26 within 72 hours of the delivery date.

    Should you find items missing from your package, we encourage you to first check the order receipt that is emailed to you or you can easily view it within My Account.

    Orders may be shipped in separate packages in which you will receive a tracking number for each package.

  • Can I cancel my order?

  • How can I figure out how much Hemp to take?

    Always read the instructions on your hemp product. Different formulations require different dosages. We also recommend to always start with a low dose and work your way up gradually until you find the minimum effective dose.

  • How should I store my Hemp products?

    For best results, hemp and hemp based CBD products should be stored at room temperature in a dark place such as inside a cabinet or a drawer. The most important thing is to keep your hemp products away from heat and sunlight. If you store your gummies in a warm place, they could melt together and become difficult to separate. Keep them easily accessible so that you remember to take them each day!

  • What is Hemp Extract vs CBD

    Hemp oil and Hemp based CBD extract are interchangeable terms and many use them as such - but Hemp based CBD extract will always contain CBD. There are a few different types of Hemp extract: Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate. Full spectrum contains multiple cannabis plant extracts, including essential oils, terpenes, and other cannabinoids, such as cannabinol. Our Full Spectrum products are made to federal regulations and contain less than 0.3% THC. Broad-spectrum CBD contains a range of naturally occurring compounds from the cannabis plant and our testing does not detect any trace of THC in our Broad spectrum products. Isolates are a pure form of CBD. Isolate CBD contains no other cannabis plant compounds and no trace of CBD.

  • What is CBD vs Hemp Oil

    The most important difference between the two is that hemp oil contains little to no CBD and hemp oil is made by cold pressing the seeds into an oil. CBD oil is made from extracting the CBD compound from the leaves, flowers and stalks of a hemp plant - these contain a higher concentration of Hemp based CBD.

  • Is CBD Oil legal?

    Yes, Hemp based CBD oil is legal in the USA but not everywhere. Certain states have legalized Hemp based CBD for medical use but not all and the FDA has not approved Hemp based CBD for any medical conditions yet.

  • The CBD Dosage for pets

    There is no exact science but these are some guidelines to follow when giving your pet treats with hemp extract CBD in them:

    Less than 25 lbs = 5 mg hemp/day

    25 - 50 lbs = 10mg hemp/day

    Over 50 lbs = 50mg hemp/day

    Please consult with your vet before giving your pet Hemp based CBD if you have any concerns, and always test a small portion of the treat before you give them the whole dosage/day to see how your pet reacts.

  • Is Hemp Oil the same as CBD Oil?

    Very good question and needs clarification - the short answer is no, they are not the same. Hemp oil comes from the seeds of the cannabis sativa plant and CBD oil uses the stalks, leaves and flowers of the hemp plant in the production of CBD oil. The FDA also views hemp and CBD differently and Hemp seed oil has been cleared by the FDA and legal to buy or sell anywhere in the US.

    Research on CBD for ADHD is very limited at this point. There has been a study done(with a test group of 30 people) that showed that THC minimally reduced the symptoms of ADD, but nothing definitive about Hemp or Hemp based CBD.

  • Can CBD lower blood pressure?

    Data shows that one dose of Hemp based CBD can reduce anxiety and therefore blood pressure response to stress - as well as a reduction in resting blood pressure. In studies, CBD has widened blood vessels so blood can travel more freely, thus reducing stress and pressure.

Delta 8 which is Federally legal in all states except for 11 (Utah, Rhode Island, Montana, Mississippi, Iowa, Idaho, Delaware, Colorado, Arkansas, Arizona, and Alaska) has trace amounts of THC, about 0.03% which is considered legal by the Federal Government - this trace amount will not get you high, but every body is different in the way it reacts to compounds so consult a doctor before use.
